Imphal, January 19 2025: The Indian Army today kicked off the Kwakta Football Tournament in Bishnupur district.

The tournament will run till January 31 .

As many 16 men's teams, from Kwakta and adjoining areas, are in the fray for the title of the tournament, being played on a league cum knockout format.

The tournament is organised as a part of Indian Army's effort to promote sports and fitness among the youth of the region as well as to promote harmony and youth engagement.
