SFC ease to win in 9-a-side football

Imphal, August 18 2024: Sangaiyumpham FC eased to a 2-0 win over YVA (Wangjing) as the 3rd Paona Memorial 9-a-side Football Tournament 2024 kicked off at EEO Ground, Lamding on Sunday.

Md Akhan opened the scoring in the 31st minute while Md Ejaj Ahamed found their second goal just before the end of the game.

Meanwhile, the second match between Endeavour FC and Anas FC ended in a 0-0 tie.

Monday's fixtures pit COBRA FC against Wangjing United, Yairipok FC against Ibosana FC, and EEO-B against 15 Brothers.
