86 Bn CRPF organised Football Tournament in Noney concludes

Imphal, September 14 2026: The football tournament organised by the 86 Bn CRPF at Noney under the aegis of IG Manipur-Nagaland Sector, CRPF, and under the supervision of Saurah Kumar Choudhary, Commandant, 86 Bn CRPF concluded today. The tournament was participated by 12 teams and saw Nungtek Youth Club (NYC) coming out victorious, defeating Longmai Modern Youth Club (LMYC) 3-1 .

The Third Place Match was played between Alpha Omega Academy and Longmai-II Youth Club, in which Alpha Omega Academy secured third position with a 7-2 victory.

The valedictory function was graced by Padmashri N Kunjarani Devi and W Nandini Devi, 2IC, 86 Bn CRPF, who distributed prizes to the winning teams.

The winners were awarded a cash prize of Rs 10,000 while the runners-up team and the third placed team received Rs 6,000 and Rs 4,000, along with medals, certificates and other prizes.

Lt Col Ajay Sangwan, 119 Bn TA; Oinam Sunil Kumar Singh, Assistant Commandant, OC B/86 Bn CRPF and Mhasituo Krose, Assistant Commandant, OC A/86 Bn CRPF also attended the event.
