CSC emerge champions of 6th WYLCO Cup Water Polo

Central Swimming Club (CSC) , Ningthem Pukhri Mapal claimed the title of the ongoing 6th WYLCO Cup Water Polo Championship 2018 beating hosts WYLCO by 11-8 margin today.
O Bikram scored 4 goals for CSC in this match and get the highest scorer prize (final match) of Rs 2,000.A Nongthang and S Bikash scored 2 goals each for the same team while L Amarjit scored 3 goals.
On the other hand, L Bibekananda scored 3 goals in this match for WYLCO and Sagar assisted with 2 goals.
L Priyobarta, Ng Sovin and Ramananda contributed one goal each in this match for the hots team.
The final match of the tournament was graced by Th Bishwajit Singh, Minister PWD; Nahakpam Indrajit Singh, MLA Kshetrigao AC; Kachungla Golmei, Zilla Parishad Member, Bamon Kampu Gram Panchayat; Mutum Kumarjit Singh, Addl SP (Ops), Imphal East; L Iboyaima, President, WYLCO as dignitaries.
Moirangthem Dhaneshor, Member of Bamon Kampu Gram Panchayat Moirangthem Ongbi Ibema Leima, Member, Bamon Kampu Gram Panchayat and Up Pradhan of Bamon Kampu Gram Panchayat, Nongthombam Akeshor also attended the closing ceremony as special guests who also feted winners CSC with Rs 10,000 along with trophy.
Runners up WYLCO, Kongba were awarded with Rs 7,000 while third placed team KYO, Kongba were encourage with Rs 5,000 on the occasion.
Best Goalkeeper title and a cash prize of Rs 2,000 went to Th Bharat of WYLCO while best promising player title and a cash prize of Rs 2,000 was bagged by M Thouba of KYO, Kongba.
The first goal scorer of the final match, L Bibekananda of WYLCO was also feted with Rs 2,000.Best coach title and a cash prize of Rs 2,000 went to CSC's coach H Dhamen while WYLCO's manager Ksh Dijen got the best manager award and cash prize of Rs 2,000 .
Best player title of the tournament went to CSC's L Amarjit while L Lenin Singh was adjudged best referee.
They were also feted with Rs 2,000 on the occasion.
Earlier the final match, KYO defeated KWPC by 8-6 margin to win the third place title.
