Sonapur GPSA emerge champions of Kh Arabjan Begum Memorial Sub-Jr Boys Futsal Tourney

Jiribam, August 03 2026: Sonapur GPSA emerged as the champions of the 3rd Kh Arabjan Begum Memorial Sub Junior Boys (U-15) Futsal Tournament organised by the All Jiribam Sports Association at Jiribam Higher Secondary School playground.

As many as 10 teams participated in the tournament sponsored by Md Abdul in memory of his beloved wife Arabjan Begum.

Sonapur GPSA sealed the title of the tournament by defeating CKC-A 6-2 in a one sided final match today.

Sonapur GPSA's Md Abdul Basid (J No 10) was adjudged best player of the tournament.

The final match cum closing ceremony of the tournament was attended by Chairman of Administration Committee Jiribam Dibong GP Thongam Meghajit Singh; president of All Jiribam Sports Association S Maniton Singh; donor family and Sairem Roshan as presidium members.
