SAI STC-I girls win title on Day 1 of Inter-SAI Sepaktakraw tounney

Imphal, July 02 2024: SAI STC Imphal won the women's team event of the All India Inter-SAI Sepaktakraw Tournament, which got underway at SAI STC, Khuman Lampak, here on Tuesday.

SAI STC Imphal got the better of KIC Imphal East 2-0 in their summit clash.

SAI-STC took a 15-11, 15-10 lead in the first regu and continued their dominance with a 15-6, 15-11 in the second regu to seal the women's team event title.

In the day's men's competition, SAI STC Imphal made the most of the day, register-ing three victories on the trot.

They beat SAI STC Dimapur, KIC Imphal East, and SAI STC Bareilly, all by a 3-0 margin.

On the other hand, SAI STC Bareilly, who lost a match to SAI STC Imphal, outplayed both SAI STC Delhi and SAI STC Dimapur.
