Imphal, March 02 2023: KCC, Kongba Bazar beat Muvanlai, New Lambulane by 16 runs in today's match of the ongoing 2nd MNCA Superplate Tournament at Kongba Khunou Dhobi Lampak.

Batting first, KCC scored 174 runs in 37.1 overs with maximum runs coming from Kishan Singh Wahengbam (42 runs), Hijam Boba Singh (36 runs) and Keisham Basantakumar Singh (29 runs) .

In the innings, Muvanlai's Gouminlun Kipgen fell four wickets and he was the highest wicket taker of the New Lambulane side.

KCC bundled out their opponent for 158 in 37.1 overs.

Khaikhotinlal Haokip was the top scorer of Muvanlai as he smashed 40 off 67 balls.

Kishan Singh of KCC who scored 42 runs and fell 2 wickets was given the man of the match title.
