Imphal, February 01 2026: Yumnam Prithiviraj was adjudged champion of the champions as the 2nd Thoubal and Kakching District Armwrestling Championship came to a close at Khongjom Standard English School.

Informing this in a press release, the Manipur Armwrestling Association informed all concerned that the 2nd Imphal East and Imphal West Districts' Armwrestling Championship will be conducted from February 6 to 8 at TYC Club, Sega Road Takhellambam Leikai.

Weigh-in for the upcoming championship will begin at 7 am on February 6, it said while adding that the athletes who failed to participate in the district championships will not be allowed to participate in the 40th State Armwrestling Championship 2026 due to.
