Three gold medals for Manipur at National Sub-Junior Taekwondo Championships

Imphal, November 30 2024:
Manipur produced a strong showing on the second day of the National Sub-Junior Taekwondo Championships 2024 in Haryana on Saturday, winning seven medals.
The state team's impressive medal haul included three gold and four bronze medals.
Venus Thaoroijam, Yumnam Depika Devi and Sukham Tondonba Singh led the charge, each winning a gold medal for Manipur.
Venus triumphed in the over 50kg category, while Depika claimed the gold in the U-35kg division, and Tondon ba earned the top honour in the U-41kg category.
In addition to the gold medals, Manipur also garnered four bronze medals.
Asem Holina (U-38kg), Linthoinganbi Lourambam (U-32kg), Nelia Irungbam (poomsae event) and Watham Chiwang (poomsae) all took bronze in their respective categories.
