8 State lads selected for Inter CoE U-19 Boys Tournament

Imphal, April 30 2025: In a proud moment, as many as 8 State lads have been selected by the All India Junior Selection Committee to participate in the Inter CoE U-19 Boys Tournament 2025 due to be held from May 6 to 16 at BCCI Centre of Excellence, Bengaluru.

Announcing this, the Manipur Cricket Association (MNCA) in a press release, said that it was a proud moment for the association and a significant milestone for the young talents of Manipur.

As per the release, Ningthoujam Thoiba, Khundrakpam Punshiba, Md Aqeel Ahmed Phundreimayum, Seram Robinson, Heisnam Joyhenba, Urikhinbam Rain, Saikhom Kaiku and Danish Khan, have been selected for the said tournament.

The tournament will provide the players a golden opportunity to showcase their skills at the National level and a possible pathway to representing India in the future, MNCA said while extending congratulations and best wishes to the young lads.

MNCA also exuded confidence that the lads will make the most of the platform and bring glory to the State.
