AMFA releases calendar for 2025-26 season

Imphal, June 26 2025: The All Manipur Football Association (AMFA) has officially released its calendar for the 2025-26 season, detailing a comprehensive line up of competitions and development programmes at both state and district levels.

The football season kicks off with the Inter-District and Club Transfer (1st window) from June 12 through August 2025, conducted in line with AIFF guidelines.

Concurrently, the Blue Cubs grassroots programme will run from June to December.

District top-division leagues are scheduled between July and September, followed by the flagship Manipur State League and Premier League, alongside the Senior Women's League qualifiers for the Indian Women's League (IWL), spanning from August to November.

The youth segment, covering U-13, U-15, and U-17 categories for both boys and girls, will see inter-district tournaments conducted from September to December.

During the same period, the Winners' Cup for top district league teams and Futsal tournaments for both men and women will also be held.

The second player transfer window will be open from January 1 to 31, 2026 .

The prestigious CC Meet (invitation tournament) will take place during January and February.

Between February and May 2026, AMFA will host the Youth League for affiliated academies, the Baby League, and referee examinations under the appointment of AIFF.

District associations have been instructed to organise youth tournaments in the U-13, U-15, and U-17 age groups.

Notably, all District Football Associations (DFAs) and District Sports Associations (DSAs) intending to host state-level open tournaments must register with AMFA by September 30, 2025.Such tournaments will be held between February and April 2026 .

Refresher courses for referees and coaches may also be organised by districts based on local requirements.
