MU releases names of players selected for Kabaddi teams

Imphal, September 25 2025: The Department of Sports, Manipur University has released names of players selected to form the university's men's and women's Kabaddi teams.

The players are selected on the basis of their performances in the selection trial held on September 24.The MU Kabaddi Teams will participate in the East Zone Inter University Kabaddi (M&W) Tournaments, 2025-26 to be held at Dr CV Raman University, Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh in October.

The men's Kabaddi tournament will be held from October 6-9.The women's tournament will be held from October 11-14 .

The selected players shall report to the Assistant Director of Sports, Manipur University on September 26 at 11 am at the Dr Kamal Indoor Stadium, MU for coaching and completing eligibility formalities, said the Department of Sports, Manipur University.
