PCC crush YPHUC by 296 runs in U-15 Women's One Day Trophy

Imphal, January 25 2025: PCC, Mayaikoibi crushed YPHUC, Lalambung by 296 runs as Al-Ameen, Lilong sealed a 67-run victory over MPA, Thounaojam in today's matches of the ongoing 2nd MNCA Women's U-15 One Day Trophy.

At PCC ground, Mayaikoibi, PCC amassed a staggering total of 387 runs for 3 wickets in 30 overs thanks to unbeaten centuries from Hemam Lingjen (116 off 59 balls; 15 fours and 5 sixes) and Laishram Anjali (102 off 90 balls) before bowling out YPHUC for 91 runs in 27 overs to earn the huge win.

Keithellakpam Katrina also produced a knock of 57 runs off 41 balls (8 fours and 1 six) for PCC as they won the toss and elected to bat first.

Loktongbam Terina and Mutum Devika picked a wicket apiece for YPHUC in this innings before they slumped to 91 all out despite 60 extras as none of the batter made double digit score.

Laishram Anjali of PCC returned with the best bowling figures of 2/11 in 3 overs as five others picked a wicket apiece.

Meanwhile at THAU ground, Thangmeiband, Al-Ameen amassed 208 runs for 5 wickets in the allotted 30 overs thanks to Farhana's 128-ball 100 (16 fours) before Laishram Lingjenthoibi (3/16) and Farhana (2/31) set up the MPA collapse at 141 (for nine wickets) in 29.1 overs.

For MPA, Laishram Bandana (2/52) and Chanambam Nevia (2/41) shared four wickets before Salaingambi Thokchom posted 16 runs in the chase.
