Kakching District Subroto Cup for U-15 boys : Eureka Academy, Padma Ratna English School sail into quarterfinals

Imphal, May 22 2025: Eureka Academy, Thounaojam and Padma Ratna English School, Kakching advanced to the quarterfinals of the 64th Kakching District Level Subroto Mukerjee Football Tournament for U-15 Boys yesterday.

Eureka Academy notched up a 5-1 win against Hiyanglam High School to seal their place in the quarterfinals.

W Opendro (5', 23') scored twice to set up the big win for Eureka Academy as M Achouba (20'), Th Mani (40') and Th Lamnganba (47') scored a goal apiece.

K Suraj scored the consolation goal for the Hiyanglam school.

Meanwhile, Padma Ratna English School beat Pole Star School, Wabagai by 1-0 goal thanks to Y Adison's 29th minute strike.

Earlier in the day, Martin Grammar School, Kakching and Green Ground Academy, Wangoo secured first round victories to seal their place in the last-16 round.

Martin Grammar School overwhelmed Kakching Public School by 4-0 goals to earn their place in the prequarterfinals courtesy of goals coming from W Narendra (16'), N Bonison (24'), N Kartex (39') and M Shahid (49') .

Martin Grammar School will play Iramdam Maheikol Academy in the next round (Pre-quarterfinal).

Green Ground Academy on the other hand beat ANK English School, Langmeidong 1-0 on the back of A Suraj's 48th minute goal.

Green Ground Academy will now play Wabagai Higher Secondary School in the last-16 round.
