Imphal, February 19 2018: Stage are set for semi-finals of the ongoing 1st BLMEC Sub-Junior Sepak Takraw Tournament organised by Brilliant Literature and Mass Education Club (BLMEC), Kongba Makha Nandeibam Leikai under the aegis of Nehru Yuva Kendra Imphal East, Ministry of YAS at the ground of the said club.

The tournament began on February 18 with 6 teams featuring in it .

Group A winners BLMEC-A will meet Group B runners up team NLC in the first semi final match while Group B winners BLMEC-B will face Group A runners up team UYAC in the second semi final match.

In the Group A league match played today, BLMEC-A beat UYAC 21-9, 21-14 while in another match BLMEC-A beat USYUC 21-18, 19-21, 15-6 to emerge group winners.

In the Group B league matches staged today, BLMEC-B defeated CHDRO and NLC to emerge group winners.

BLMEC-B beat CHDRO 21-19, 21-13 in the first match while they got better of NLC 25-15, 21-18 to secure the semi-final berth.
