Thoubal 2nd Divn Football: JJFC hold SUSAL 2-2 in opening leg

Imphal, November 17 2025: JJFC, Thoubal staged a late fightback to hold SUSAL, Langathel to a 2-2 draw in their opening leg in the ongoing 2nd Division Football League Tournament 2025-26 today at Mini Stadium, Thoubal.

SUSAL, who went down 0-1 to SDAU, Tekcham in the previous first leg match, went ahead after 28 minutes today thanks to Sh Suresh's strike.

Suresh went on to score another goal in the 57th minute to double the advantage but JJFC halved the deficit the very next minute riding on A Robason before K Donaldo equalised in the 61st minute.

With the result, JJFC extended their unbeaten run to two games having sealed the opening leg match with SDAU 2-0.JJFC will play SDAU in the second leg match on November 19 .
