SAI STC-I boxers finish runners-up at All India SAI Boxing Championship

Imphal, November 17 2024: SAI STC Imphal ended their campaign as runners-up at the All India Inter SAI Regional Boxing Championship 2024, which wrapped up on Sunday in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.

The SAI STC Imphal boxers won three gold, two silver and one bronze medals during the course of the competition, finishing second overall.

L Luxmi Devi, L Bidiya Devi and N Anjali Devi triumphed in their respective final matches to hand three gold medals to their team.

Luxmi clinched the gold medal in the 48kg category, while Bidiya shone in the 50kg category for her yellow metal, with Anjali claiming the gold in the 54kg category.

In addition to the gold medals, L Sushibala Devi earned the silver medal in the 46kg category as L Alia Chanu secured silver in the 57kg category.

Riya Heikham contributed to the overall success, bagging bronze medal in the 52kg category.
