Winter Tennis: Ribhaskar wins 35+ men's singles title

Imphal, December 15 2025: Ribhaskar sealed the 35+ men's singles title at the Winter Tennis Tournament 2025 hosted by the IDTA and ASTPM at IDTA Complex, Lamphelpat from December 12.Ribhasker overcame spirited Yuridas 7-5, 6-4 in the title clash to earn the 35+ singles titles.

Meanwhile Korounganba claimed the 45+ men's singles crown by defeating Tuleshwor 6-4, 4-6, 7-6 (10-4) in a see-saw final contest today.

The day also saw Tuleshwor redeem himself and clinched the 50+ men's singles title by beating Jayenta 7-5, 6-0 in the title clash.

NK Meetei and Ch Pritam meanwhile won the 45+ men's doubles title as they eased 6-1, 6-2 past Manikanta and Jayenta in the final clash.

Premjit and Domson on the other hand won 6-1, 6-1 over Ranbir and Jogen to lift the 35+ doubles title.

The final line up of the 50+ men's doubles competition was also completed today with NK Meetei and Prakash securing a 7-6 (7-2), 6-1 semi-final win over Kumarjit and Chaoba and Khogen and Mohen edging out Leishemsana and N Ranjit 7-5, 7-6 (12-10) in another semi-final clash.

The final match for the men's open singles competition is slated for December 25 .
