U19 Men's One Day Trophy : Bidyashwor bowls YUCC to 42-run win over YPHUC

Imphal, June 14 2026: Bidyashwor enjoyed a fifer to guide YUCC, Kwakeithel Moirangpurel to a 42-run win over YPHUC in a rain hit Group C match of the 4th MNCA Men's U-19 One Day Trophy at Khudeiband Lampak, Taothong.

Put in to bat first, YUCC were dismissed for 127 runs within 25.2 overs despite Khundrakpam Boney's leading 49 off 62 balls.

With rain affecting the chase, the target was revised to 125 in 33 overs via VJD/other method but YPHUC, who had posted three wins in last four matches, slumped to 82 all out in 26 overs with Bidyashwor (5/19 in 7 overs), Loitongbam Joychand (2/12 in 6 overs) and Ningthoujam Jamesbond (2/18 in 5 overs) doing the demolition job for YUCC.

Irom Sunny (3/27), Birbal Irom (3/24) and Konsam Mangal (2/38 in 7 overs) shone with the ball for YPHUC earlier in the first innings before Loktongbam Hanish (21 off 42 balls) and Irom Ishor (12 off 26 balls) emerged as the only double digit getters in the chase.

Bidyashwor was deservedly adjudged player of the match.

The Group A match between SCCC and CCK scheduled today at Moijing Public Ground and the Group E match between KASC and KCC scheduled at Model Hr Sec and Oriental College ground were, however, abandoned due to rain.
