MU Sports Committee invites sponsors for Inter College tourneys

Imphal, August 12 2024: The Manipur University (MU) Sports Committee has invited agencies or individuals keen to sponsor 11 Manipur University Inter College tournaments to submit proposals to the secretary of the committee.

In a memorandum, the secretary of the MU Sports Committee maintained that Inter College Tournaments for 8 disciplines- Badminton (M&W), Basketball (M&W), Best Physique (M), Chess (M&W), Football (M&W), Handball (M&W), Table Tennis (M&W) and Thang-Ta (M&W) held anually are sponsored and tournaments for 11 disciplines looking for generous sponsors.

The disciplines which are not sponsored include- Softball (M&W), Shooting (M&W), Archery (M&W), Volleyball (M&W), Wrestling (M&W), Yoga (M&W), Powerlifting (M&W) and Weightlifting (M&W), Judo (M&W), Kabaddi (M&W), Mukna (M) and Kang (M&W), it said.

Any agencies or individuals desiring to sponsor the said disciplines or competitions may submit proposals to the office of the secretary, Manipur University (MU) Sports Committee at Dr Kamal Indoor Stadium, MU on or before August 30 during office hours, it said.

The proposal for sponsorship may also be submitted via WhatsApp nos- 8014150295/ 9612549108 or sent via e-mail address- [email protected], it continued.
