AMPLA team leave Imphal for Sub-Junior and Junior Classic Powerlifting Nationals

Imphal, May 12 2026: The All Manipur Powerlifting Association (AMPLA) today flagged off athletes who will be representing Manipur at the XV National Sub-Junior and Junior Classic Powerlifting Championships to be held from May 15 to 20 at KIMS, Amalapuram, Andhra Pradesh.

The athletes who were flagged off for the championships are as follows.

Sub-Junior Women : Khumukcham Luwanganbi (52 kg), Ngangbam Shandela (57 kg), Kangujam Abenao (69 kg), Chitralekha Asem (76 kg) and Sanjenbam Lamjingbi (84 kg) .

Junior Women : Maibam Gulabi (57 kg), Keisham Arika (76 kg) and B Nimi (84 kg) .

Sub-Junior Men : Yuvaraj Laishram (59 kg), Aheibam Joshua (83 kg), Jeetesh Khomdram (83 kg) and Leishangthem Probaraj (105 kg).

The team are being led by Naorem Sushila Devi as manager and Konsam Rosida as coach.
