AIFA thump SRDC, SWC down KFC in DSA Trophy football tournament

Imphal, September 11 2024: AIFA delivered a decisive 5-0 victory over SRDC while SWC-K beat KFC 2-1 in the 18th DSA Trophy Invitation Football Tournament 2024 on Wednesday.

M Renedy was the standout performer in AIFA's 5-0 thrashing of SRDC.

He set the tone with a 29th-min-ute opener, followed by O Francis doubling the lead just before halftime.

Renedy then dominated the rest of the game, completing his hat-trick with goals in the 44th and 78th minutes, and adding a fourth in stoppage time.

KFC, meanwhile, rode on strikes by Th Yaiphaba and K Dingkal to defeat SWC 2-1 .

Yaiphaba opened the scoring in the 21st minute but Eshant made it all square for SWC in the 55th minute.

Dingkal regained KFC's lead just four minutes later, sealing the victory for his side.
