Thambou, CT, Kanan, Thambaleima schools complete IW Subroto football semis lineup

Imphal, May 10 2022: Ch Thambou High School (Mayang Imphal), CT Hr Sec School (Mayang Imphal), Kanan Devi Memorial School (Lamphel) and Thambaleima High School (Iram Siphai) triumphed in their respective quarterfinal matches on Tuesday to complete the semifinal lineup of the 61st Imphal West District Level Subroto Mukherjee Football Tournament 2022 underway at Khuman Lampak Main Stadium.

Ch Thambou High School started the day's fixtures with 3-2 victory over Little Master Eng Hr SeC School to earn their place in the semifinals.

CT Hr Sec School, meanwhile, carved out a 2-1 success against Malom Megha High School on their way to the last four.

The day's third match saw Kan Devi Memorial School produce a 5-1 drubbing of Nilamani English School to reach the semifinals.

On the other hand, Thambaleima High School fought off a stiff challenge from Nirmala Rani High School to eke out a 1-0 win and secure the remaining semifinal spot.

In the semifinals, Ch Thambou High School will play Kanan Devi Memorial School as CT Hr Sec School take on Thambaleima High School on Wednesday, May 11 .
