PCC, KSDO, TRAU script comprehensive victories in 4th MNCA U-14 Boys Tournament

PCC, Mayaikoibi; KSDO, Kyamgei and TRAU, Kwakeithel scripted comprehensive victories in today's matches of the 4th MNCA U-14 Boys Tournament.
At Khudeiband Lampak, Taothong, PCC Mayaikoibi notched up a 172 run victory against SDO, Keirao Makting thanks to half century knocks from Lamnganba Nongmaithem (82 off 64 balls) and Rojer Laishram (67 off 47 balls) .
With the half centuries, PCC racked up 229 runs for 5 wickets in the allotted 30 overs before Moirangthem Herachandra (4/7), Simon Konthoujam (3/2) and Rojer Laishram (2/19) bowled out SDO for 57 runs in 11 overs.

KSDO, Kyamgei meanwhile sealed a comfortable 9-wicket win over THAU, Thangmeiband thanks to Khutheibam Abu Sufiyan (5/7 in 5.2 overs) and Md Soheb Khutheibam (2/5 in 1 over) .
Opting to bat first PTRC ground, THAU slumped to 44 all out as Abu Sufiyan and Md Soheb ran riot before Abu Sufiyan 19 and Kh Firdos 10 led KSDO to winning 47/1 in 5.1 overs.
Elsewhere at Lairenjam Public Ground, TRAU notched up a huge 245 run victory against CHAMP Cricket Club.
They amassed 290 runs for 6 wickets riding on half century knocks from Tyrus Chabungbam (89 off 55 balls) and Potsangbam Jeet (60 off 50 balls) and 88 extras before bowling out CHAMP for 45 runs in 20.3 overs thanks to Ringku Moirangthem (3/2), Khundrakpam Silheiba (3/17) and Keisham Yaikhomba (2/4) who shared 8 wickets among them.
At Kongba Dhobi Lampak, YESSDAN, Ningthoukhong sealed a 3-wicket win by chasing down a target of 96 runs in 28.2 overs set by MPA, Thounaojam.
Earlier MPA had amassed 95 runs thanks to 39 extras and Th Chinglensana's 25-ball 22 in an innings that saw Laishram Giri (3/9) and Ningthoujam Rajesh (3/12) .
In reply, Maisnam Anderson 22 and Oinam Batista 20 fired YESSDAN to winning 96 despite Ch Yohenba of MPA picking four crucial wickets (4/32) .
