HVA vs AMIMYDO in 46th Junior State Volleyball Tournament final

Imphal, August 09 2026: HVA, Heigrujam will lock horns with AMIMYDO, Mayang Imphal in the final showdown of the 46th Junior State Volleyball Tournament 2026 organised by the All Manipur Volleyball Association at Kha-Sanjenbam.

HVA reached the final with a 3-1 sets win over DVA, Thoubal in the first semi-final match today.

HVA conceded the first set to their Thoubal rivals but bounced back in the second set before cruising to the 20-25, 25-16, 25-17, 25-23 win .

HVA reached the semi-final with a 25-19, 25-17, 25-20 win over PASI, Kamjong while DVA earned their semi-final ticket with a 25-18, 17-25, 26-24, 25-22 win over PVA, Pourabi. In the second semi-final match, AMIMYDO also sealed a similar win over NYVA, Naorem to complete the final line up.

AMIMYDO went down 22-25 in the first set up but improved themselves in the following sets to come out 22-25, 25-15, 25-23, 25-22 winners.

Having topped Group B, AMIMYDO reached the semi-final yesterday with a 25-17, 25-15, 25-10 win over Group D runners up SCYC, Senjam Chirang.

NYVA meanwhile entered the semi-final with a 25-17, 25-17, 25-13 win over EAGLE, Ukhrul yesterday.

The final is slated for tomorrow at 2 pm .
