FC Imphal emerge champions of 1st Women's Futsal Inter Club C'ship

Imphal, April 09 2025: FC Imphal, Mayaikoibi emerged champions of the Loitongbam Sharat Singh Memorial 1st Women's Futsal Inter Club Championship 2025-26 organised by the Alll Manipur Football Association at KIYC Artificial Turf Ground.

FC Imphal edged past the Young Welfare Club, Langthabal (YWC-L) by 5-4 goals in a keenly contested clash to seal their sixth straight victory this afternoon and finish atop the 7-team table.

Thingujam Bhumika (18', 24') and Laishram Bijeya (33', 34') scored two goals apiece for FC Imphal as Khumukcham Bhumika (38') added one.

On the other hand, Sarangthem Alena (26') and Chingangbam Binomala (26', 27', 33') scored for YWC-L today.

Earlier in the day, Youth Welfare Club, Thambalkhong (YWC-Th) beat MPSC by 7-4 goals to keep their title hopes alive.

Leikangbam Russia (16', 31') scored twice for YWC-Th while Laitonjam Linthoi (6'), Irom Priyadashini (7'), Wairokpam Monika (22'), Senjam Alva (2') and Heikham Zenia (18') added a goal apiece.

For MPSC, Kshtrimayum Naocha (5', 7', 9', 16') scored all the four goals. In another match, Manipur United FA (MUFA) beat Khuman FA by 13-2 goals courtesy of leading scoring performances from Golmei Abem Kabuini (3', 5', 9', 11', 31', 34') and Thokchom Priyangka (25', 29', 30', 32') .

Thokchom Yaiphabi (7'), Thokchom Olivia (21') and Irom Deviya (36') also added a goal apiece for MUFA as Waikhom Delena (15') and Aisha Sidika (17') netted a goal apiece for Khuman FA .
