SAI STC AP dominate Day 2 of SAI Karate tourney, 1 gold for Imphal

SAI STC Arunachal Pradesh made the most of the second day of the All India Inter-SAI Karate Tournament 2024, winning five gold medals, while hosts SAI STC Imphal bagged one gold.
SAI STC Arunachal Pradesh dominated Day 2 of the competition with five gold medals.
Mesu Mangkhya cadet 14-15 yrs girls -42kg), Neelam Yamin (cadet 14-15 yrs girls -48kg), Suni Londa (cadet 14-15 yrs girls -53kg), Anju Pangia (cadet 14-15 yrs girls -59kg), and July Tabbri (cadet 14-15 yrs boys -50kg) were the top finishers for Arunachal Pradesh.
SAI STC Meghalaya also made their presence felt with four gold medals.
Jarem Aiak, Inlumlang, Daphshisha and Kynjaiwn L Mawna all claimed top podium honours for Meghalaya.
SAI STC Imphal, meanwhile, managed a gold medal courtesy of Bloodlee, who secured his yellow metal in the junior boys -61kg (16-17 years) event.
In addition to the gold medal, the home team got three silver and two bronze medals, with W Saya, P Yohenba and S Toni Singh getting silver, and K Brojeson and Nishita taking bronze.
