U-14 hockey: MLHA, TWC, THHA script wins

Imphal, March 04 2025: MLHA, Mayai Lambi; TWC, Taobungkhok; and THHA, Thoubal cruised to victories over their respective opponents in U-14 matches of the 1st State Level Late Thongam Iboyaima Singh Memorial Master Hockey Championship & U-14 Boys and Girls' Hockey Tournament at SEYO Astro Turf Hockey Stadium, Akampat on Tuesday.

In the girls' match, MLHA drubbed SEYO, Akampat 13-0 with six of the goals scored by S Henthoi (5th, 27th, 32nd penalty corner, 35 th, 51st and 55th minutes), as captain N Dhaneshori sounded the board thrice (9th PC, 34th and 38th) and N Malem contributed two (7th & 29th) .

Similarly, TWC trounced Ideal Club, Tera Bazar 15-0 through goals from Lamnganbi Ak (2nd, 12th, 14th, 21st and 22nd), M Linda (8th, 10th, 27th and 44th), P Ar-shilia (42nd, 49th, 50th and 55th), L Helina (7th) and W Yaiphabi (59th) .

In boys' competition, THHA defeated PHAM, Thangmeiband by 17-0 with goals scored by S Telson (5th PC, 20th, 23rd, 25th, 27th, 39th, 43rd and 58th penalty stroke), Ng Pritam (8th PC, 45th, 51st, 52nd and 59th), captain K Hitler (14th PC & 40th), Taibanganba K (36th) and P Micheal (53rd) .

On the other hand, goals from Dinaraj (2nd & 9th) and Kahor Kasar (31st, 44th & 54th) helped TWC blank SEYO 5-0 .
