Thang-Ta and Jagoi Eeshei Instructor Refresher Training Course commences

Imphal, February 04 2026: A "15-day Thang-Ta and Jagoi Eeshei Instructor Refresher Training Course" kicked off today at the office of MEEHULS Thang Ta Khongman Okram Chuthek.

The course is hosted by the HRD Department of the Apunba Manipur Huyel Lanlong Lup (AMHLL) .

The course is particularly designed to enhance the skills of the Sintakpa/Sintakpi (instructors) working with schools that offered Thang-Ta and Jagoi Eeshei, said AMHLL in a press release.

Many instructors including new entrants working with schools offering Thang-Ta subject are taking part in the course that was opened in the presence of Prof Paonam Gunindro, Vice Chancellor, Manipur University of Culture (MUC) as chief guest; Sintakpurel Okram Manglem, president AMHLL and Guest Faculty at Thang-Ta Dept MUC as the functional president and Dr Aheibam Rishikesh, Associate Prof Thang-Ta Department, MUC as guest of honour, it said.
