Imphal, December 29: ITBP riders raced ahead of ASC Centre-North on the medal count as Hc Shashidharan picked his second gold medal on the third day of the National Tent Pegging Championship at Imphal Pologround today.

Shashidharan culled 27.5 points to make the top podium finish in the individual sword event as ASC Centre North's Nk Shinde RT secured the silver medal on 26.5 point followed by his unit-mate Sub Omprakash in third place with a total of 23 points.

In the day's other competition, Punjab Police rider Sub-Inspector Jaswinder Singh won the individual tent pegging lemons & pegs (2 runs) with a tally of 72+36 points relegating Hc Jaswinder Singh of the BSF (72+6) to the silver medal position.

Hc Makhan Singh, also of BSF secured the bronze medal on 30 point.
