Imphal, March 29 2025: FORCE, Kshetrigao kicked off the Group B league campaign in the 1st MNCA U-23 Women's One Day Trophy with a convincing 8-wicket win over PTRC, Patsoi Part IV at Kongba Dhobi Lampak today.

PTRC won the toss and opted to bat first but were bundled out for 150 runs in 29.3 overs before FORCE eased to the winning 152 in 20.4 overs with 8 wickets left to spare.

PTRC had a sloppy start to their innings and were reduced to 8/2 in 3.3 overs before Palujam Kiranbala (54 off 59) tried her best to revive the innings by gathering 59 runs for the 5th wicket with Laishram Linthoinganbi (25 off 26) .

They however slumped to 150 all out as FORCE's Farjiya (2/9), Barkatun Khanam (2/17), Wakila Shani (2/17) shared 6 wickets and three others picked a wicket apiece.

Chasing 151 runs for the win, Mehanaz 21 off 18 and Barkatun Khanam 38 off 43 gave FORCE a steady start before Neha teed off with a 43-ball 56 to gather an unbeaten 59-run partnership with Kh Rukshad 10 off 23 for third wicket and sealed the victory in 20.4 overs.

Laitonjam Benita (1/27) and P Kiranbala (1/22) picked one wicket apiece for PTRC in this innings.

Barkatun Khanam who starred with both the bat and ball was adjudged player of the match.
