AMVA organises mini marathon

Imphal, January 29 2023: The All Manipur Volleyball Association (AMVA) today hosted a mini marathon at Khuman Lampak Sports Complex today.

The marathon participated by around 150 youth was organised as a part of Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) and Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) Bhubaneswar's 25 years celebration and to spread the message of "Education for All" .

The event was graced by AMVA president Ng Inaomacha; advisory committee members of AMVA- L Jugindro and S Nandakumar; secretary AMVA- Eto Tongbram; vice presidents of AMVA- L Madhubala and O Ganga; technical chairman of Athletics Association of Manipur- S Rameshwar and Senior Reporter of The Sangai Express-M Romen as presidium members.

The mini marathon also aimed at furthering the cause of "Nation Building '' process through games and sports after Covid pandemic forced sporting activities to seize for around two years.

Such similar events are being held in different parts of the country.
