Imphal, October 27 2024: Kamjong United FC emerged the champions of the Kamjong Brotherhood Cup Football Championship held at Phaikho village till October 25 from October 21 under the aegis of the Assam Rifles.

The championship saw the hills of Kamjong come alive as 8-teams drawn from Kuki and Tangkhul Naga communities along the Indo-Myanmar border competed in a spirited tournament, said PRO IGAR (S) in a statement.

The grand finale, between Kamjong United FC and Kamjong Veteran Club, was a showcase of skill with Kamjong United FC's star forward scoring a stunning bicycle kick in the teams' 3-0 decisive win, it said.
