Imphal, July 26 2025: Leonie Tayenjam, Hemam Malemnganba, Yangba Thokchom, Sarungbam Archana, and Rashithoi Ningthoujam clinched singles titles as the 69th State Open Junior Badminton Championship 2025 drew to a close on Saturday.

In the girls' singles U19 category final, top seed Leonie Tayenjam of IWDBA defeated second seed Konsam Gunjan Devi (IEDBA) in a gripping three-set encounter, winning 21-15, 13-21, 21-16 .

The boys' singles U19 title was claimed by eighth seed Hemam Malemnganba Singh of BDBA, who edged past Martin Ingudam in a nail-biting final with a scoreline of 21-13, 14-21, 23-21 .

In the U13 boys' singles final, Yangba Meitei Thokchom (IEDBA), the top seed, showcased dominance to beat second seed Shannon Loitongbam (IWDBA) 21-12, 21-17 .

Meanwhile, the girls' singles U13 crown went to top seed Sarungbam Archana (IEDBA), who overcame Jia Sanabam (IWDBA) in straight sets, 21-15, 21-14 .

In the youngest category, Rashithoi Ningthoujam (KDBA) triumphed in the girls' singles U9 final, defeating top seed Chingkheinganbi Seram (IEDBA) 21-10, 18-21, 21-15.On the boys' side, Delrique Pukhrambam (KDBA) secured the boys' singles U9 title with a 21-19, 21-11 win over Khundrakpam Narjit Singh (BDBA) .

In the boys' doubles U13 final, Chirom Netcover Singh and Yangba Meitei Thokchom (BDBA) held their nerve to defeat Hidangmayum Bishal Sharma and Longjam Biyas Meetei 21-19, 13-21, 21-17 .

The girls' doubles U13 title was secured by Elangbam Thoihenbi Devi and Sarungbam Archana (KDBA/IEDBA), who beat Jia Sanabam and W Anjelina (IWDBA/IEDBA) 21-10, 21-19 in straight sets.

In the mixed doubles UI9 event, top seeds Rishav Ngangom and Konsam Gunjan Devi (BDBA/IEDBA) defeated Shaikhom Gung Singh and Rekispa Soubam (TDBA) with a solid 21-17, 21-14 victory.

Konsam Gunjan Devi partnered with Rekispa Soubam (IEDBA/TDBA) to win the girls' doubles U19 final, narrowly defeating Chirom Bellarix and Khangembam Senlina (IWDBA) 21-18, 9-21, 21-15 .

The Boys' Doubles Under-19 crown went to Kyoveio Vemai and Rishav Ngangom (SDBA/BDBA), who delivered a convincing 21-10, 21-17 win over Hemam Malemnganba Singh and Khwairakpam Amarjit (BDBA) .
