4th MNCA Senior Women's One day Trophy : THAU crush FORCE by 214 runs for second straight victory

Imphal, February 26 2025: THAU, Thangmeiband crushed FORCE, Kshetrigao by 214 runs to seal their second straight victory in the ongoing 4th MNCA Senior Women's One Day Trophy today at THAU ground, Thangmeiband.

After winning the toss and electing to bat first, THAU rode on Keisham Kalpana's unbeaten 109 off 67 balls to pile up 269 runs for 2 wickets and elected to bat first and dismissed FORCE for 55 runs in 24.4 overs to earn the huge win.

Robeni Usham scored a 94-ball 65 (6 fours) and Changammayum Leithoi 46 off 43 balls (8 fours) had earlier forged 104 runs for the first wicket to give THAU a solid start before Kalpana found the fence 16 times on the way to her quickfire 109 .

The innings saw Rahamatun and Nazmin Khatun of FORCE claiming a wicket apiece.

In reply, FORCE were never in contention and collapsed at 55 in 24.4 overs as Ningthoujam Monica snared three wickets for 9 runs in her spell of 4.4 overs and Pungyambam Milky claimed two wickets for 11 runs in 4 overs.

Ahongsangbam Thoithoibi, Yambem Milan, Wangkhem Nganbi and Konjengbam Nonibala of THAU also chipped in with a wicket apiece to quicken the downfall of FORCE.

Keisham Kalpana who starred with an unbeaten ton was adjudged player of the match.
