WBAM to conduct Wheelchair Basketball Coaching camp

Imphal, August 01 2026: Following its impressive rise and achievements in recent years, Wheelchair Basketball Association of Manipur (WBAM) has sent out a strong message encouraging people with locomotor disabilities to join a residential coaching camp beginning on September 1 at CYLC Basketball court.

Citing the immense growth of the State team in the recent years, WBAM said it has been helping people socialise, inspire, encourage and live in dignity through sports.

Maintaining that the month-long camp will serve as the State team trial selection for the upcoming 10th National Wheelchair Basketball Championship 2026 to be held in Gwalior, WBAM invited people with disabilities, who cannot move physically but can use their hands, to make the most of the camp.
