Imphal, February 25 2025: AKSDO, Khangabok will square off against YWC, Langthabal in the title clash of the 4th MNCA U-14 Boys Tournament 2024-25 on February 28 at Kongba Dhobi Lampak.

AKSDO entered the final of the 33-team tournament with a 7-wicket win over KSDO, Kyamgei today at Kongba Dhobi Lampak.

Opting to bat first, KSDO were bundled out for 78 runs in 20 overs as Punshiba Akoijam (3/19 in 6 overs), Shailesh Khundrakpam (3/15 in 2 overs) and Chingamba Elangbam (2/15 in 5 overs) of AKSDO wreaked havoc.

AKSDO then eased to winning 80 in 13.5 overs with 7 wickets left to spare courtesy of Bidyananda Moirangthem's 36-ball 26, Kh Korounganba's 13 off 28 balls and 30 extras conceded by KSDO bowlers.

For KSDO, Khutheibam abu Sufiyan 16, Sangomsumpham Arish 11 not out and Md Zuneid 10 led the scoring before Kh Firdos, Md Shadik and Md Gunbas shared three wickets in a lost cause.

In the other semi-final match held elsewhere at Khudeiband Lampak, Taothong, YWC pulled off a 4-wicket win over RCA, Lilong to complete the final line up.

RCA won the toss and gathered a lowly total of 142 runs for 8 wickets in 30 overs courtesy of leading strikes from Syed Sami Ul (41 off 85 balls), Heibokmayum Lucky Ahmed (17 off 16 balls) and Farhan Hamed (15 off 26 balls) .

However, Kelvinson 23 and Leishangthem Chinglemba 8 produced an unbeaten partnership of 28 runs for the 7th wicket after Seram Tondonsana's crucial 42-ball 38 to take YWC to winning 147 in 27.2 overs.

Leishangthem Chingthang starred with a four wicket haul (4/25 in 6 overs) for YWC in the first innings while four others picked a wicket apiece.

Md Albas Khan meanwhile picked two wickets (2/26) for RCA as three others claimed a wicket apiece.
