KASC vs RCA in 1st MNCA H Biramangol Singh Memorial U-23 Men's Tournament final

KASC, Khomidok will square off against RCA, Lilong in the title clash of the 1st MNCA Haobam Biramangol Singh Memorial U-23 Men's Tournament.
The final match is slated for June 26 at Model HSS and Oriental College ground.
RCA made it to the final with a commanding 47-run victory over SCCC, Singjamei Thongam Leikai in the first semi-final match before KASC sealed an easy 54-run victory over RULE, Meitram in the second semi-final match at Lairenjam Public Ground.
At Model HSS and Oriental College ground, RCA opted to bat first and were able to gather 209 runs in 38.3 overs for all wickets down and successfully defended their total by dismissing SCCC for 162 runs within 35 overs.

Syed Hussain 32, Imran Khan 29, Aziz Mirza 28, Naesh Hussain 27 and Zamir Khan 19 were the main run getter for RCA in an innings that saw Khaidem Lishan pick three wickets (3/21) and W Rex (2/25), Syed Hanif (2/41) and Bicky Kumar Das (2/50) sharing six wickets among them.
Ankit Prasad also picked a wicket for SCCC.
SCCC however faltered badly in the chase despite Ankit Prasad's painstakingly slow 103-ball 62 and eventually succumbed to 162 all out.
Aziz Mirza was the pick of the RCA bowlers claiming four wickets (4/32 in 8 overs) while Zamir Khan finished with 2/22.Iliyas and Naesh Hussain also picked a wicket apiece.
Meanwhile in the second semi-final match, KASC were bundled out for 122 runs in 31.1 overs but successfully defended their meagre total by bowling out RULE for 68 runs within 23.3 overs thanks to Md Aqeel (3/11 in 6.2 overs), BM Afsar (3/9 in 4 overs) and Fm Sharif (3/20 in 5 overs).
Jay Singh (3/34 in 8 overs) and A Rojit Singh (3/35) shared six wickets as Sanjenbam Ananda (2/3 in 1.1 overs) picked two wickets for RULE to subdue KASC meagre total in an innings that witnessed Md Aqeel 30 and Bm Irfan 24 lead the scoring.
But in reply, RULE batters departed cheaply in quick succession saving Sanjenbam Suresh who collected 31 off 49 balls and eventually got skittle out for 68 runs.
