Olympic Day Run held at Jiribam

Jiribam, June 23 2019: Jiribam Olympic Association (JOA), Jiribam organised "Olympic Day Run 2019" under the theme "Move, Learn and Discover", at its complex, this morning in the presence of SP, Jiribam Police, M Mubi Singh; JOA, president, M Brajakanta Singh and Addl SP, Jiribam Police (law & order), H Basulal Singh; retd DI, Jiribam, T Apabi Singh as dignitaries.

As part of the programme, the Olympic Run was flagged off by SP, M Mubi Singh from Jiribam Ema Keithel and the run proceeded towards Babupara and Chandrapur before culminating at the starting point again.

On the occasion, M Brajakanta Singh and other dignitaries spoke about the importance of the observation and maintained that the programme was organised to promote sports and physical activity for a healthy future.

They also appealed all to exercise regularly and eat healthy food to lead a healthy and resourceful lifestyle.
