M Anjali claims two gold in Sub-Jr girls Indian Round events

Imphal, October 21 2024:
M Anjali of AAC was able to win two gold medals today in the sub-junior girls Indian round competitions in the ongoing State Archery Championships.
Anjali won her first gold medal in the individual 30+30 m distance competition as she topped with 681 points.
S Lingjelthoibi of BCAC shot 678 points and N Linthoisana of AAC shot 668 points to settle for the silver and bronze medals respectively.
Anjali meanwhile picked the second gold medal in the team event along with N Linthoisana, H Roshina and Kh Subharani in a tense competition with the NSA team comprising Suprina th, M Lanchenbi, S Priyanka and Th Ritika.
Both the teams were tied at 4-4 in the final round and was eventually decided via a shoot-off where AAC edged NSA 28-27 to seal the gold medal.
SICA team of N Anjali, M Linda, N Jina settled for the bronze medal in the competition.
Meanwhile, Y Jackson won the sub-junior boys' 30+30 m Indian round competition gold medal registering 707 points as H Rupachandra of UYSC and W Suraj of KMAC settled for the silver and the bronze medals on 707 and 696 points respectively.
Sub-Junior Boys' Indian Round team gold medal in the meantime went to NSA team of Kh Tom, N Lamngakpa, W Nganba and Y Indrapal who edged KMAC team of Y Jackson, W Suraj, Y Bikash and Mahesh Elangbam 30-29 in the shoot-off after a 4-4 stalemate in the competition final round.
UYSC team of H Rupachandra, M Abinash, M Joykamal and N Khamba were able to win the bronze medal in this event.
