Imphal, May 19 2026: TCMDC, Thongju defeated BSC-A, Brahmapur Laljilakpa Leikai by 4 wickets for the third Group C victory in the 3rd Khomdram Ongbi Hijam Mema Memorial T-20 Manipur Veteran Cricket Tournament at Langthabal Public Ground today.

BSC-A won the toss and opted to bat first.

Things however did not fare well for the BSC batters and eventually they succumbed at 89 for 7 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.

TCMDC then rode on Rakesh's unbeaten 34 off 28 balls and Gulshannanda's 20 to seal the victory in 18.3 overs with 4 wickets to spare.

TCMDC's Brajakumar was crucial in restricting BSC-A to a lowly total as he picked four wickets (4/11) and was eventually adjudged man of the match.

Bijesh (2/11) and Jiten (1/19) also shared 3 wickets for TCMDC before Gopal (2/16) and Thomas (2/18) led the blunt BSC-A bowling attack.

Brajakumar was eventually declared man of the match.

Later in the day, REYS, Nagamapal defeated UCC, Uripok by 15 runs for the third successive Group A victory.

REYS posted a modest total of 129 runs for 7 wickets after electing to bat first and held UCC to 114 for 6 in reply.

Maikel 33 off 32 (retired), Jagjit 25 not out off 23, and Kenny 24 off 23 balls led the scoring for REYS before Helendro 37 off 34 and Rajkumar 30 not out off 24 balls led the UCC batting charge.

For REYS, Superjit (2/15), Momo (1/28), Jagjit (1/13), and Nongdren (1/18) shared 5 wickets as Ashini (2/21), Trimal (1/13), and David (1/29) were among the wickets for UCC .

Jagjit of REYS was adjudged man of the match.
