Thokchom Sanjeeta wins bronze at Bodybuilding Nationals

Imphal, January 17 2025: Thokchom Sanjeeta of World Gym, Yaiskul won Manipur a bronze medal at the 16th National Senior Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championship 2025 which concluded yesterday at Belagavi, Karnataka.

Sanjeeta was participating in the women's open bodybuilding competition.

Meanwhile, Laishram Neta of UGM, Naoremthong finished fourth in the men's -60 kg bodybuilding competition as Melson Nongmeikapam of Royal Gym, Ningomthong finished fifth in the men's 100+ kg bodybuilding competition.

As many as 13 athletes represented Manipur in the said championship.
