OLYC, EC win in 1st Singjamei Super League

Imphal, September 15 2026: OLYC, Okram Leikai and EC, Oinam Thingel scored opening game wins in the 1st Singjamei Super League.

In the fourth match of the tournament and third Group B match staged yesterday, OLYC crushed GALAXY, Chongtham Leikai by 11-0 goals thanks to a masterclass from O Bedangamba who scored 5 goals alone (32', 37', 40', 63', 63').O Rohit followed suit with a treble (7', 20', 70') in the team's comprehensive win as Y Sabastian scored twice (9', 20') and N Richard netted one (47') .

In the second Group A match and first match of the day, EC edged IBSA, Yumnam Leikai by 4-2 goals S Nungshiba (3') and O Nganthoiba (6') gave EC early flourish before I Arbind (33') and Y Samananda (35+1') helped IBSA mount their way back into the game and make it 2-2 .

S Sarjit, however scored a second half brace (40', 45'), to set up the eventual win for EC .
