AG Memorial Academy accords warm reception to U17 State Level Subroto Cup winners

Thoubal, July 14 2026: AG Memorial Academy today accorded a warm reception to the U-17 boys' team of the school who emerged as the champions of the State Level Subroto Mukerjee Football Tournament in a solemn function at the academy located at Charangpat Maning Leikai today.

Notably, AG Memorial Academy got the better of ASUFII Christian Institute by 4-2 goals yesterday at Langjing Achouba football turf to seal the State title and earned the honour to represent Manipur at the upcoming 65th Subroto Cup International Football Tournament.

The reception programme was presided by Principal Th Master Singh; Vice Principal Kh Momon; and coaches of Pandam Football Academy-which is an extended section of the school- Bhogen, Boby and Chandrakumar, who also led in felicitating the players with simple presents.

Class IX student of the school- Mangal Moirangcha, who also earned selection to Punjab FC was also felicitated at the occasion.

Speaking at the event, the Principal of the School Th Master expressed pride over the achievement of the students.

Lauding the exemplary performances given by the students at the district and the State level competitions, he also praised the guardians and coaches of Pandam Football Academy for their unwavering support and encouragement that helped the students reach such a milestone.

He also extended best wishes to the students to keep up the good work and make a mark in the upcoming international tournament.
