N Anita, Ng Nungshithoi, and K Nandita bag top honours in Asmita Cycling League

Imphal, June 14 2026: Naorem Anita, Ngangbam Nungshithoi, and Kangabam Nandita earned top honours in mass start competition for different age groups as Manipur Cycling Association organised ASMITA Cycling League.

In the 20 km competition for women riders above 19 years that was flagged off from Khurai Popular High School, Naorem Anita of Imphal-East clocked 33:12.97 (33 minutes, 12.97 seconds) to finish on top.

Sarangthem Bidyarani of Imphal East was second in 34:66.02 while Nganthoi Hijam finished third in 37:77.38 .

In the 15 km competition for junior riders (17 and 18 years), Kangabam Nandita of Imphal East recorded the best time of 26:33.058 followed by Punia Nongmaithem in 28:44.834 and Tianshree Chanu Loukrakpam in 44:49.387 .

Ngangbam Nungshithoi Chanu of Imphal East on the other hand clocked 15:40.102 to top the 10 km mass start for sub-junior riders (13 to 16 years) .

She was followed by Henam Belina in the second spot with a time of 17:44.577 as Chingkheinganbi Nongmaithem finished third in 23:18.998 .
