Manipur suffer 7 wicket loss to Sikkim in Senior Women's T20 Trophy

Imphal, October 13 2025: Manipur went down by 7 wickets to Sikkim in a plate group match of the ongoing Senior Women's T20 Trophy at Police Training Academy Ground in Agartala.

Manipur elected to bat first but slumped to 68 all out in 18.3 overs before Sikkim completed the chase in 15.5 overs with 7 wickets left to spare.

Niruta 20 off 28 and K Ranjita 17 off 20 were the only State batters who managed double digit runs today as Sarika Koli (3/11), C Pranita (2/8) and Primula (2/ 10) wreaked havoc to put Sikkim in a comfortable position.

In reply, Nandika scored an unbeaten 29 off 43 balls to guide Sikkim to the target.

Haorungbam Kiranbala (1/20) collected a scalp in the second innings for Manipur.

Notably, Manipur's previous matches against Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya and Mizoram were all abandoned.

Manipur will play Nagaland in the final Plate group match against Nagaland on October 15 at the same venue.
