NAPSA, KCC seal emphatic wins in Mema Memorial T-20 Cricket

Imphal, May 13 2026: NAPSA, Kha Imphal and KCC, Kongba earned emphatic wins against their respective rivals today as the 3rd Khomdram Ongbi Hijam Mema Memorial T-20 Manipur Veteran Cricket Tournament resumed weeks after it was halted due to restive situation and inclement weather conditions.

In the Group B match staged this morning, NAPSA thumped SU-VC, Sagolband by 79 runs for the second straight win and to end the latter team's two game winning run.

Asked to bat first NAPSA raised 138 runs for 6 wickets thanks to Rishikanta's unbeaten 82 off 61 balls before Puthiba 4/9 and Simon 2/13 lead in dismantling chasing SU-VC for 64 runs in 17 overs.

Meiraba (2/11) was the pick of the SU-VC bowlers today before Pritam 28 emerged the only double digit run getter in the chase.

Later in the day, KCC restricted 8-man LCCC to 31/7 riding on Lenin (3/6), Chumthao (2/13) and Ranjit Sharma (2/1) before Devkanta 10 and Sanjit Sharma 14 produced an unbeaten first wicket stand to take KCC to the target in 4 overs.
