Bpr 1st Divn League : KYVO&SWC thrash TYDA 4-1 for fourth win on trot

Imphal, September 09 2022: KYVO&SWC, Kha Jiri cruised to their fourth straight victory in the 1st L Itomcha Singh Memorial 1st Division Football League Tournament with a 4-1 thrashing of TYDA, Toubul at Mini Stadium Bishnupur this after.

KYVO&SWC got off to a flying start dominating the possession and found the lead early in the 11th minute with Roshan finding the back of TYDA net.

His team mate Didarson then doubled the advantage in the 19th minute with a clinical finish before Yameithoi Mahung pulled back a goal in the 36th minute to make it 1-2 at the break.

KYVO&SWC retained control of the game after the restart and further extended their lead when Julenjit made the most of a chance before L Bolen made it 4-1 after 77 minutes.

As TYDA failed to convert their chances in the later stages, the scoreline remained unchanged till the final whistle.

The day also saw KYSLC&L-Kha Jiri beating KYVO-Kwasiphai by 2-1 goals.

Neither team managed to find the breakthrough in the opening but Dinku put KYSLC&C ahead finished off a fine chance in the 47th minute before W Bicky found another in the 72nd minute to give their team a 2-0 lead.

KYVO managed to half the deficit with Santosh goal in the 78th minute but failed to sustain their momentum and close out the gap as the Kha-Jiri team held on to their lead.
