Imphal, October 07 2026: IMPHAL, Oct 7: Chingkhei Hunba Polo Club (CHPC), Kongpal has partnered with Eartheners and Unibrow Studio for the 2026-27 season.

The seasonal partnership was officially announced following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) among the three parties at the Loktak Hall of the Manipur Press Club today.

The event also featured the unveiling of the club's new team jersey and the official launch of their website.

The MoU was formally executed in the presence of Thoudam Thoinu Devi, President of CHPC; Soraisham Devakishor, Founder and Managing Director of Eartheners; Tedawnshim Khaling, Founder and Director of Unibrow Studio; and Th Jotin, secretary of CHPC .

Speaking at the function, Soraisham Devakishor stated that the MoU was signed with the objective of providing crucial moral and financial support to the polo club.

Highlighting the challenges faced by the sport, Devakishor noted that most polo players come from humble backgrounds.

Furthermore, local clubs often lack the financial resources required to maintain stables and feed the rare Manipuri Pony-a breed that shares a deep, historic bond with the people of Manipur.

To help ease this financial burden and support the broader cause of preserving both the game of polo and the endangered Manipuri Pony, the corporate partnership was extended to the club, he added.
