Kakching 1st Divn Football League: UBSA, PFC extend unbeaten run to intensify knock out campaign

Imphal, October 06 2025: UBSA, Mantak and PFC, Tokpaching extended their unbeaten run to intensify the knock out campaign in the 21 st KK Memorial 1st Divn Football League being underway at DSA Kakching playground.

In the 10th Group A match of the tournament staged this afternoon, PFC, who played out a 1-1 draw with UBSA mantak after two opening game victories, were held to a 2-2 draw by KYWAC, Wabagai.

It was a cautious start from both the ends but KYWAC squeezed into the break with a slender 1-0 lead thanks to Sadananda's added time effort.

PFC however overturned the lead courtesy of goals coming from Thoungamba (60') and H Manithoi (74') .

And as PFC looked to seal their third win, Aneldo found the equaliser for KYWAC, who were also looking for their second with after having played out three consecutive draws, deep four minutes into the added time.

Later in the day, UBSA staged a late fightback to draw 1-1 with AKSA, Kakching Khunou.

Kh Quintan gave AKSA the lead after 46 minutes but Leivon Joseph Kom salvaged the draw for UBSA five minutes into stoppage time.

With today's result, PFC are on top of the Group A table on 8 points after 4 rounds as UBSA go second on the same 8 points but with fewer goal count (7 against PFC's 8) .

UBSA will play KYWAC in their final league round match on October 9 while PFC will play WALYDA in their final match on October 12 .
